Tobenna Ifeanyichukwu Obiaga

23 December 1978 – June 30, 2024

Born on December 23rd, 1978, in Benin City, Nigeria to Dr. Tim & Mrs. Udu Obiaga.

Nnanna began his education at the University of Benin Staff School. At the age of 6, he moved with his family to Lagos, Nigeria where he completed his primary education at Command Children’s School, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. He continued his education at Federal Government College, Ijanikin, Lagos completing his secondary education in 1995.

He then moved to Atlanta, Georgia, USA, where he attended Dekalb College and Georgia State University, respectively, studying Computer Science. He worked in real estate sector for many years in Atlanta before transitioning to the insurance industry after moving to Canada in 2015.

From his earliest days, Nnanna embraced life with a zest that defined him. He cherished being with people and brought laughter to those around him, forging bonds that would last a lifetime.

Throughout his earthly journey, Nnanna radiated warmth that drew others to him effortlessly. His friendly demeanor and quick wit illuminated every room he entered, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a beacon of positivity, spreading happiness and goodwill wherever he went. He treasured peace and he was peace-loving.

Nnanna exemplified resilience and determination. He tackled challenges with unwavering strength and inspired those around him with great optimism. His spirit of generosity and compassion knew no bounds, as he consistently extended a helping hand to those in need. He sacrificed even to his own hurt.

Nnanna departed this world on Sunday, June 30th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by his wife – Etunim, his children, Carter, Zikora and the imminent KaiTobenna, his parents, sisters, brother in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, and plethora of friends, and all who were touched by his kindness and infectious spirit. Though he is no longer with us in person, his presence will forever resonate in our hearts.

May Nnanna’s gentle spirit find eternal peace, and may his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.
